Over the weekend, I went digging through my quilt tops to get a count on how many I had that still needed quilting. I gave up before I counted them all, but the short answer is there are a bunch of them. One of the happy coincidences is I found a flimsy I had put up without borders. I guess I did not know what I wanted to use for a border fabric. I find I have that problem often when making a scrappy quilt. I finally settled an a blue floral and a blue tone on tone. I cut the borders over the weekend and last night I got the borders sewn onto the top.
Strip Twist quilt Pattern by Bonnie Hunter
I have been participating with Jo working on finishing up some Bonnie Hunter patterns. I finished the Sister’s Choice quilt last week then got to work on the Strip Twist quilt. I have another top to put in the to be quilted queue, but I have finished two recently so I guess I am making progress. To see how others are progressing on their quilts visit Jo’s Country Junction.
I managed to get the pictures taken today at lunch but did not have time to post the pics until now. No sewing going on in my life right now, but it will not be much longer. I am going through withdraw. My company will stay tomorrow night and then I should be back to my same ole boring life 🙂
So here are my border options, please let me know what you like. I think I am going to go with a narrow white border than a second border. I am going to post a pic without any borders to see if that looks better, but that probably will not happen until Monday. That will give me time to get the house picked up and then get back to sewing.

Wow, this took a lot longer than it should have. The new and improved WordPress would not let me set the images the way I wanted, then I made the mistake of hitting the back button. That is a big no no in WordPress, you lose your post. Fortunately I had a draft saved but it took a while for me to fine. Oh, well, live and learn.
Thanks for visiting!
I thought I was going to get to the border options today but it did not happen. I thought I would have a few minutes between when I got off work, and when my company would be here. Sadly I was mistaken but it is okay, hopefully I will get it done tomorrow.
I hope you have a blessed night and rest of the week.
I have company tonight so no sewing going on. I managed to get the first border on the Mock Trip quilt and half of the second border. Here is a picture before I started on the second border. I thought laying it out this way would help me get a better picture but I think it is worse. here it is for better or worse.

I also managed to get the binding for the Amish Diamond sewn together but not finished or sewn onto the quilt.
