Hello! Didn’t mean to disappear for several days, I did not have anything quilty to share. I had overnight company from Tuesday through Thursday and I had to pick up all of my quilting stuff.
I managed to get a binding sewn on Friday on one of the quilts recently quilted, so I hope to have it finished soon. I also hope to have more pieces made on my leap frog quilt also.
Went fabric shopping today with Missy so my stash report is going to take a big hit. Oh well, I knew it had to happen. Next Saturday is Quilts of Love and we are having a potluck at my house, I guess that means that I need to clean.
Hope you had a good week and are enjoying your weekend!
I had nothing on my wall so I started sewing on one of the kits that I had cut out earlier. After a little while I had this on the wall. This is Leap Frog by Me and My Sister Designs and can be found here. This is just a start and I did not enough blocks to spread the color around. I also ended up with one part of my set missing, but I ended up finding it under the ironing board.
I loaded the Time Out quilt and quilted two more rows on it. I probably have one and a half rows left to finish.
I hope everyone is staying safe and warm. See other Design Walls over at Patchworktimes.
A few hours makes a difference, it started snowing around 4:30. Here is the pic out the door this evening around 5:30. It looks like the snow has stopped for now.

I am having fun with the weather changes, sorry if I am boring you. I did trim the quilt that was finished yesterday. Now I need to make binding and get it attached.
I showed a picture out my door after the sleet the other day. Here is the picture out my door after the rain yesterday.

They are talking about freezing rain, sleet and snow moving in this evening. To my friends friends who will be getting hit before and after by this system, stay safe, warm and dry. Those of you in the NE and Midwest whom have been getting pummeled all along may spring come to you very soon.
Well I have some outage to report. Most of it is because I traded fabric for some work, but outage is moving the fabric out of my house and I am good with that. Missy traded me some quilting for some fabric and that is 10.75 out.
A baby quilt was quilted yesterday so I can count the backing for that also. Here is the quilt that was quilted yesterday. The pattern is called Quick Strippie comes from Mollie Johnson over @ MaryQuilts.

Fabric in 0 (yay)
Fabric out ytd: 28.71 yards

See Patchworktimes for additional stash reports.
Thanks for visiting and keep quilting!
Well after doing a little housework this morning, I had a play day. DH was out of town so Missy came and kept me company. We were working on a couple of quilts for Quilts of Love. Missy finished quilting the quilt that was on the frame and almost finished, then we had a leisurely lunch and visited for a while.
While Missy was quilting, I was getting the next quilt ready to go on the frame. I squared up the quilt and got the backing cut, then we loaded a baby quilt and it was quilted it also. Now we have some bindings to finish. Here is the baby quilt that Missy took home to bind.

Next we cut some half yard pieces of batiks for Missy to take home. I will have some outage to report tomorrow. Woohoo! In return for the fabric, Missy is going to quilt a couple of my quilts that are backlogged which helps both of us.
I hope you found some time to get something quilty done today.
As my office mate says “What the French Toast?” Saturday it was almost 80, Sunday night we got sleet. Monday nothing, Tuesday snow (I would guess a half inch). Wednesday and Thursday about 40 and warm enough that there is nothing on the roads anymore. Friday’s weather, sleet and ice are predicted. To finish it off Saturday it is supposed to be warm to be stormy. I have always heard if you don’t like the weather just wait around, it will change.
I hope you have a quilty week! There is nothing much going on here quilt wise. I guess I could start another top but I need/want to get a quilt off of the machine. I have been having foot trouble preventing me from standing very long at a time making quilting hard 😦 Doc says I have a Peroneal tendon injury (getting old is hard on the body). It is getting better though and I hope to have the quilt off by the end of the week.
